My friend Dan always indicated that reality wasn't what mattered, but rather perception, and managing perception. Our perceptions mask reality, and often hinder our understanding. But, if we think a little, and peel back the layers (unmask) our perceptions, perhaps we'll perceive reality a little clearer!

Is Twitter Our Id?
Read Roger Ehrenberg (Twitter is our Id, Facebook our Ego) and let me know: Is he right? Especially from my friends who 'Tweet'...(and extra credit if you can do it in the size of a twitter msg!)
I was prepared to disagree, but probably agree. I think it depends on how comfortable you are with the mediums tho. I still work through having professional, personal and internet related contacts on Facebook - it's much more personal. Thanks for the comment on my blog post - I agree with everything you said - including taking it easy on her (the counselor) because her job is to take care of major things. I'm more amazed at society in this instance I think than her.
